2008-09 Candidates for Elected State Office

State Master Councilor
Andrew Auerbach: Andy is a Past Master Councilor of Lincoln Park Chapter in Lincoln Park, NJ. As a result of his term Andy earned the Past Master Councilors Meritorious Service Award. He has completed all five Leadership Correspondence Courses and has earned the Degree of Chevalier and his Representative DeMolay. Andy has served the NJ State Council as District One Master Councilor, State Scribe, State Senior Councilor and is currently Deputy State Master Councilor. He is a graduate of the 2003, 2004 and 2005 KeyMan Conferences and 2007 New England LTC. Andy is currently enrolled at Passaic County Community College.

Deputy State Master Councilor
James Chwalyk, Jr.: James is a Past Master Councilor of Clifton Chapter in Clifton, NJ. He has completed all five LCC’s and earned his Representative DeMolay. James started the 2007-2008 term as District Two Master Councilor and was promoted to State Scribe in January of 2008. He was DeMolay of the Year for 2006-2007 and is currently enrolled at Montclair State where he is very active in numerous groups.

State Senior Councilor
Christopher Bonelli: Chris is a Past Master Councilor of Capital Chapter in Trenton, NJ. Throughout his DeMolay career Chris has participated on a number of Capital Chapters athletic and ritual teams. He is a holder of the Degree of Chevalier and has earned his Founders Membership Award and Representative DeMolay. Chris is a 2005 and 2006 graduate of the Keyman Conference and attended the New England LTC in 2007. Chris has served the New Jersey State Council as District Master Councilor of the third DeMolay District, and for his service he was Appointed State Officer of the Year. He was DeMolay of the Year in 2005-2006 and currently serves the New Jersey State Council as State Junior Councilor.

State Junior Councilor
Michael Kyle: Mike is a Past Master Councilor of Trinity Chapter, meeting in Egg Harbor Township, NJ where he earned the Meritorious Service Award for his term. He has completed all five LCC’s and earned the Representative DeMolay. Mike is a graduate of the 2003 and 2006 Keyman Conference and has been an active participant on Trinity’s sports and ritual teams. He has served the NJ State Council as District Four Master Councilor and currently serves as District Two Master Councilor. Mike is currently enrolled at Kean University and is a member of the American Meteorology Society.

State Scribe
Wesley Munns: Wes is a Past Master Councilor of Franklin W. Hornor Chapter, meeting in Woodbury, NJ. In addition to his membership in Franklin W. Hornor Chapter, Wes is also a dual member of Tyrean Chapter in Vineland, NJ. Throughout his DeMolay career Wes has competed on various sports and ritual teams for both FWH and Tyrean. Wes is a graduate of the 2003 and 2004 Keyman Conference and has completed all five LCC’s. He is a holder of the Degree of Chevalier and the Representative DeMolay. Wes is currently a senior at West Deptford High School and upon his graduation this year plans to attend Stockton State College. Currently Wes is the District Four Master Councilor and has previously served the NJ State Council as State Senior Deacon.

Eric Baker: Eric is a Past Master Councilor of Delaware Valley Chapter, meeting in Riverside, NJ. Eric has completed all five LCC’s and earned his Representative DeMolay. He has been very active on the sports and ritual teams of his home chapter and assisted in numerous state degrees. He is a graduate of the 2006 Keyman Conference and is an Eagle Scout. Eric currently serves the NJ State Council as the District Three Master Councilor and is a Junior at Doane Academy.
